Tears in a Bottle

This bottle is a gift, that’s a work of art.

It will hold your tears of sadness

from your broken heart.

God sends to us His angels, that come from up above,

They carry a golden bowl, that catches tears of love.

They’re taken back to heaven, to the room of tears,

and poured into a bottle,

where there your name appears.

So when your heart is hurting

and some tears have fallen too,

remember that heaven’s angels

have been surrounding you...

God loves you so much, He bottles up every tear and

records them in His book. He sees you tossing and turning

through the night. His eyes never stray night or day.

He will give to those to reap in joy, who sowed in tears

and what was sown a tears will come up a pearl.

For the angels have the golden bowl that holds your prayers.

The very day you call for help the tide of battle turns.

This one thing I know: God is for me!
